Many people have asked recently about our outlook on the practice of law and more specifically, what it means to have a holistic approach to the law. Simply put, it is our desire that the practice of law is not only financially beneficial for our clients, but also spiritually, emotionally, and physically beneficial for our clients.
A lawsuit and legal matters can often be very devastating for anyone going through the process. We want people to be able to connect and share their experiences, not only dealing with the legal aspects of the law, but also with how they have dealt with all the issues surrounding the law.
It is our goal to see Social Security Justice as a clearinghouse of information for individuals trying to navigate through this process.
As a former social worker for over a decade I understand that there is much more to practicing law than a courtroom and money. There are real people who eat, breath, and need to feed their children. There is an emotional aspect to the law for individuals involved in the system that has nothing to do with laws, court rules, administrative rules, etc.
We are strong advocates for our clients, both in the courtroom and out. We view Social Security Justice as a way to form a collaborative between us and the community, one step at a time. Together a new consciousness of community will develop. Other services offered by partners of Social Security Justice include:
- Social Security and Disability
- Criminal Defense
